Net Zero Emissions Strategy for Council Operations 2025

The Net Zero Emissions Strategy for Council Operations 2025 was adopted on 20 June 2019. The Strategy sets the climate change context and maps out a dynamic, high-level pathway for Council to achieve its aspirational mitigation goals. 

Council's 2015 to 2016 emissions profile is being used as the baseline against which to measure progress. The National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) methodology is being used to monitor and report on Council's emissions.
