Byron Shire Recycled Water Management Strategy
The Byron Shire Recycled Water Management Strategy guides how we manage recycled water.
Recycled water refers to highly treated effluent from sewage treatment plants that is used as an alternative water source.
Recycled water will be managed in accordance with current regulation, protecting public health, enhancing the natural environment, and supporting local water security efforts.
We are currently reviewing and making plans to update our Recycled Water Management Strategy.
