Pay Parking is coming to Brunswick Heads! Drop-in to one of the following sessions to get help applying for your parking permit.

From 30 September, pay parking meters will start operating in central Brunswick Heads and South Beach Road.

If you’re a Byron Shire resident, you can apply for 2 x FREE Shire Resident Parking Permits, per household, from 16 September.

These free parking permits are for eligible Byron Shire Residents for use in Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads from 30 September.

Need help applying for your permits?

We’re bringing our customer service team (and our computers) to Brunswick Heads.

If you bring current car registration papers and driver’s licence with a Byron Shire address, we can help you apply for your permit.  

Come along to one of the below sessions at the CWA Hall. 

Existing Permit Holders

If you have an existing resident permit, these permits will remain valid throughout the Byron Shire, including the Brunswick Heads pay parking areas until they expire.

• Pensioner Parking Permits – remain free, apply online now
• Worker & Business Permits –$116 per year, see T&Cs online
