'Vehicle for sale' Advertising

You must not park your vehicle on a road, nature strip or in any other public place to advertise it for sale.  If you do so, you may be fined.

The placement of vehicles for sale on public streets or Council property, where they are clearly signed for such purposes, are subject to fines under the Local Government Act 1993 of $330.00.

Vehicles for sale take up valuable car spaces and can be a distraction and hazard to drivers. 

Please consider alternative methods of disposal such as online vehicle selling websites, social media, print media and legitimate car yards.
