Bob Bellear Sports Field

The Bob Bellear sports field in Ocean Shores, features a hybrid couch surface, excellent drainage and state of the art LED lighting. It is home to the Shores United Football Club.

Brunswick Heads Sports Fields

Old Pacific Highway, Brunswick Heads 2483

A picturesque expanse of green featuring the Shires premier cricket field Stan Thompson Oval this field has a turf cricket wicket, sight screens and picket fence, in the winter it is used for AFL. The neighbouring Lofts Oval has a synthetic cricket wicket and is used for Rugby in the winter.

Byron Bay Memorial and Recreation Grounds

The Byron Bay Memorial and Recreation Grounds contains 2 football fields, 1 cricket field, 1 rugby field, practice wickets, tennis courts, netball courts and croquet court. There is also a hall that hosts a variety of art classes and community activities when not being used as a Scout Hall.

The main focus of this facility is as the primary centre for the shires netball competition. There are six hard courts and five grass as well as generous shelters for spectators.

The grounds can be accessed via Byron Street or Stuart Street

Suffolk Park Pump Track

The Suffolk Park pump track is in Linda Vidler Park, Suffolk Park.

It is an asphalt circuit of rollers, banked turns designed for bicycles, scooters, skateboards and even wheelchairs. The pump track is suitable for all ages.
