  • Climate Change and Resource Recovery Advisory Committee
  • Coast and ICOLL Advisory Committee
  • Floodplain Risk Management Advisory Committee
  • Transport and Infrastructure Advisory Committee
  • Water and Sewer Advisory Committee
  • Access Consultative Working Group

Heather Sills, Manager Corporate Services, said Council’s Advisory committees and working groups play an important role in ensuring community views and knowledge in a range of specialised areas are considered and presented to the elected Council.

“We are looking for nominations from people who have experience and expertise in a particular area and who want to work with Councillors and other community members,” Ms Sills said.

“Being on our committees and working groups can be very rewarding and I encourage anyone who is considering nominating to get in touch with us with any questions,” Ms Sills said.

Nominations close on 17 November 2024.
