Stormwater upgrade for part of Mullumbimby coming in January Published on 20 December 2024 Byron Shire Council is set to upgrade the stormwater system at the corner of Station Street and Fern Street in Mullumbimby in 2025, aiming to reduce flash flooding in the area.Work will start in mid-January and will require a temporary full road closure at the intersection of Station Street and Fern Street for approximately one month.
