Byron Bay's epic new skate park, Jarjumirr Park, is open!

Our community have campaigned for this skate park for more than 30 years.
The Sandhills Skate Park has received $2.05 million from the NSW Government in funding support with an additional $600,000 from Byron Shire Council.

The Bundjalung of Byron Bay Arakwal people and Tweed Byron Local Aboriginal Land Council played have played a critical role in enabling this project to be delivered for Byron Shire on this land.

The park was designed and built by Convic, one of the top-rated skate park design companies in the world.
The new Byron Bay Skate Park is located at 1 Gilmore Crescent, Byron Bay.
Access is via Middleton Street, near the Byron Bay library, while works are ongoing on Gilmore Crescent.
