The Paddock Project Farm Walk 

Karen and her team at The Paddock Project hosted a tour of their market garden and Syntropic system. During the farm walk, Rodrigo, the garden designer and syntropic guru explained the principles of syntropics and their application in a community setting.

Farmers Feast 

In collaboration with Tweed Richmond Organic Producers Organisation, we hosted the first Farmers Feast event.

This event provided an opportunity to

  • feast on local produce
  • celebrate our local farmers
  • share inspirational stories
  • strengthen connections amongst local producers.

Seven speakers shared their stories and learnings with over 90 attendees.

A series of breakout sessions also allowed attendees to engage in thought provoking conversations on topics of shared interest.

Paddock Plants Workshop 

In collaboration with North Coast Local Land Services and pasture experts Carol and Harry Rose we ran an on-farm pasture and plant ID workshop.

During this workshop, farmers learnt how to

  • ID plants
  • analyse landscapes and soils
  • better inform land management decisions.
