Resources for People with Disabilities

We want to make Byron Shire a better place to live or visit for people of all abilities.

We work with people with disability to improve our community. This includes things like:

  • Improving access to community buildings.
  • Making it easier for people to use our parks, beaches and playgrounds.
  • Creating accessible documents and making information easier to understand.

Access Consultative Working Group

We work alongside the Access Consultative Working Group (ACWG) to improve outcomes for people with disability in our community.

We are currently seeking nominations for new members.

The ACWG meets bi-monthly.
